I have a lot of experience and enjoy working with people with anxiety and mood disorders. Other particular interests of mine include women's mental health and working with people dealing with OCD, using both exposure response prevention, mindfulness and medication management.
In 2022 my first book, Practicing Stillness: 50 Simple Exercises to Slow Down, Live in the Moment, and Find Peace, was published. Practicing Stillness is a beautiful introduction to meditation and yoga with psychotherapeutic principles weaved throughout.
I (she/her) did my undergraduate studies at UCLA in psychobiology and then attended USC for medical school. I completed residency at the UCLA/San Fernando Valley Psychiatry Training Program and I am a Board Certified Psychiatrist.
I am passionate about working with adults to improve their emotional health and well-being. I have a strong background in both psychopharmacology and psychotherapy, including psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral and mindfulness. I believe in treating the whole person and I very much enjoy working collaboratively with my patients on a journey towards a healthy and fulfilling life.
